The representatives of the Polish institutions: the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, the Lodz University of Technology and the Institute of Environmental Protection -PIB (National Centre for Balancing and Emission Management – KOBIZE) met with scientists from the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO). The hybrid meeting took place 14-16 June 2022 at the NIBIO’s headquarters in As, Norway. The purpose of the meeting was to meet each other, to summarize the results of the InCoNaDa project, to plan next steps towards the achievement of the project milestones and indicators, and to discuss future collaborative projects. During the meeting, the participants also took part in a field trip to see the landscape of the Viken County and to validate the result of land cover classification and land cover changes developed by the team from the Centre for Applied Geomatics at IGIK.
The Polish team is very thankful to Prof. Geir-Harald Strand (Head of the Research – Division of Survey and Statistics at NIBIO) and his team for kind hospitality, fruitful discussion and interesting field trip around the Viken County.
